Project Overview
EAMFCO provided critical electrical infrastructure for Al Mouwasat Hospital in Dammam, a leading healthcare facility. Our contribution included the design, manufacturing, and installation of LV Switchgear, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Motor Control Centers (MCC), and Synchronization Panels.
A Synchronizing Panel is essential for connecting a local generator to the grid. The incoming generator must have the same phase sequence, voltage, and frequency as the grid. To achieve this, a synchronizing panel is needed. Two or more generator sets may be used in parallel to share the total load of the system. When mains fail, all generators start simultaneously, but after some time, one will be active, and others will stop as per the load demand. When the load increases above 70% of the total load, the second generator will start and synchronize with the first one, distributing the total load equally among the generator sets. This process continues as needed.
